As a Senior Manager Finance Process and Systems, you’ll have the opportunity to work with and support finance teams across the Polaris organization to identify their challenges and opportunities for digital transformation. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of business needs. You’ll build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, work closely with business processes, and lead initiatives to design and deliver impactful solutions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop and deploy digital solutions to the office of finance.
  • Document solutions; data flows, detailed UX components, financial and business logic rules, data integrations and any associated data transformations/ETL rules.
  • Develop all logic and associated data integrations and user interfaces to automate finance processes and enable greater finance insights.
  • Evaluate and propose new software solutions to support digital transformation.
  • Support the core business owner teams with administration of solutions, security updates, meta data changes, migrations from development.
  • Test new capabilities and provide insights on use cases for broader teams.
  • Collaborate across the business partner community to elevate digital transformation opportunities across the organization.
  • Maintain and document financial procedures and collaborate with partners on developing and enforcing effective processes and controls.
  • Lead FPS developers, coach and train team members, and review for alignment to best practices and optimized solutions.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

  • BA or BS in Information Systems or Business Systems (Accounting/Finance coursework preferred)
  • 10–15 years experience developing and architecting solutions for finance
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Development experience with VB.Net, Java, Python, SQL, or C#
  • Strong skills in multidimensional financial modeling and data integrations
  • Experience with CPM/EPM tools like OneStream, Oracle, DB architecture
  • Familiarity with Alteryx and/or Power BI preferred
  • Strong communication, process development, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and initiatives

💲 The pay range for Minnesota is $136,000 – $168,000 per year.
