Job Description:
Mortenson is currently seeking a Senior Estimator responsible for leading estimating efforts for large construction projects and managing multiple project bids. This position involves organizing, calculating, and compiling data to produce accurate and comprehensive project estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

Organize and lead estimate planning and scheduling
Conduct thorough quantity surveys and fill design gaps with best practices
Collaborate with project and design teams to identify and mitigate risks
Prepare margin plans and present estimates to stakeholders and owners
Lead bid day operations and estimate presentations
Manage estimating teams and coach junior estimators
Apply self-performed work expertise using historical data (TCH)
Maintain cost history and inform future estimates
Develop strong relationships with internal teams, partners, and clients
Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Estimating, Civil or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
9+ years of construction industry experience
Expertise in estimating techniques, software, and cost modeling
Leadership experience with large-scale, complex estimates
Strong organizational and coaching skills
Understanding of construction law, business practices, and logistics impacts
